Young KAMAZ Workers Help Save over 42 Million Roubles

The department of project and investment management of KAMAZ PTC (part of Rostec State Corporation Rostec) has summed up the results of implementation of youth projects.

Last year, teams from the company's divisions completed 12 projects successfully. The budget allocated for this purpose in the amount of 1.5 million rubles was realised at full. Most of ideas arose at production: young workers' and specialists' offers were aimed at increasing efficiency of use of equipment. Several projects enabled to improve the arrangement of the work process, improve working conditions, enhance its performance.

Last year, the most active team was a team of vehicle assemblers who opened five projects out of 15. Also, several projects were developed by experts of the development block, technologists and designers, toolmakers. Experts of the coordinating council of youth projects consider works of the team of the forge plant ("Optimized Use of Energy at Acheson Installation") and the general directorate ("Effectiveness Information System") the most productive.

According to preliminary calculations, the total economic impact of youth projects will amount to more than 42 million roubles. Besides additional funds, the guys gained teamwork experience and were highly appreciated by the leadership. Funding for 2017 will amount to two million roubles.
