Today, in elaboration of the agreements signed in December, 2014, in the territory of Gyandzhinsky Automotive Plant Production association (Azerbaijan) KAMAZ truck assembly line opening ceremony is being planned.
It is expected that Rustam Minnikhanov, acting president of Tatarstan Republic, OJSC KAMAZ director general Sergey Kogogin, chairman of the supervisory board of production association Gyandzhinsky automotive plant Hanlar Fatiyev, representatives of local authorities will participate in opening ceremony.
High sided truck model KAMAZ-43114 batch will be assembled first on the new line, and KAMAZ-65115 dump trucks assembly, SKD-sets of which are now being arrived in the factory, will be mastered soon. At a later stage, assembly plant development means assembly model range expansion: there will be drop-side truck tractors KAMAZ-65117, heavy KAMAZ-6520 dump trucks as well. Special focus is planned on agricultural dump trucks promotion. Keeping in mind that 2015 is declared as a Year of agriculture in Azerbaijan, and republic feels need for that kind of products, such offer of KAMAZ agricultural automotive equipment looks logically and in due time.
It is predicted that various government institutions, industrial companies, large cities municipalities, construction companies, carriers will be main customers of KAMAZ trucks.
Parallel to assembly site development, issues connected with distribution and service network modernization are being resolved now. Top-priority goals development of Gyandzhinsky Automotive Plant production association and OJSC KAMAZ long-term relations in Azerbaijan is provision consumers with KAMAZ trucks of ecological standard Euro-4,-5 high level service, as well as well-managed original spare parts supply.
