According to the results of five months of this year, KAMAZ transferred the amount of personal income tax to the budget of Tatarstan by 19 million rubles more than in the same period last year.
According to the tax regulation service, in the period from January to May, personal income tax payments of KAMAZ PTC exceeded 741 million rubles, compared to 722 million rubles for the same period in 2019. The increase in personal income tax deductions is associated with an increase in income of KAMAZ residents, which, in turn, is due to an increase in production volumes in the period from January to May 2020, compared to the same period last year, and the indexation of tariffs and employee salaries by 5% in November.
At the same time, the number of personnel for the group of technological chain of KAMA has decreased and by the end of May in 2020 is 32,676 people. For comparison, the number of employees of the company in May last year was 33,468 people.
KAMAZ is a major taxpayer and the main budget-forming enterprise of the city of Naberezhnye Chelny. The total amount of payments for taxes and contributions of KAMAZ to the budgets of various levels for 2019 amounted to more than 8.8 billion rubles. In addition, the company directs a significant part of its own funds to the development of the city's social, sports and cultural infrastructure. In 2019, KAMAZ transferred more than 90 million rubles to charity and support, almost twice as much as a year earlier.
