According to the results of the first two months of 2019, KAMAZ holds a leading position in the domestic market of trucks with a gross weight of over 14 tons with a share of 50% (registration data).
According to the Marketing Department of KAMAZ PTC, the Russian market of trucks with a gross weight of over 14 tons in the first two months of 2019 increased by 3% compared to the same period last year (SPLY) and amounted to 8.7 thousand units. Registration of KAMAZ trucks for the same period amounted to more than 4.3 thousand units, which is 23% more than SPLY.
Thus, the share of the company at the end of two months the Russian market of trucks with a gross weight over 14 tons according to the registration increased up to 50% (for comparison, the share for the same period lastyear was 41%).
The market share of KAMAZ vehicles of the new K4 model range is growing. In January-February of the current year it amounted to 13% (5.8% in the same period last year). The share of KAMAZ K3 generation cars in the market also increased to 37% (same period last year – 35.6%).
