FOREMEN FAMILIARIZED THEMSELVES WITH THE WORK OF MTSPK

16 April 2018

The Multifunctional Centre of Applied Qualifications of Mechanical Engineering (MTsPK) has organized tours for foremen of KAMAZ's engine plant.

The tours are made on the initiative of the management of the engine plant in order to study the training and material resources of MTsPK. The visit to the training centre is a good opportunity for the foremen to see how close training is to manufacturing, and also to share their wishes and ideas. According to Lilia Aleksandrova, Deputy Director for Educational Work of Association FE Multifunctional Centre of Applied Qualifications of Mechanical Engineering, the tours are made to show the top managers of the engine plant how and in what potential workers are trained.

Since early March, such tours were conducted for four groups about five people each. The program includes about ten stations, including workshops of machining, logistics, industrial alpinism. A guide and representatives of MTsPK tell about educational programs, show equipment with the help of which workers acquire practical skills. Special attention is focused on 3D-simulators: for example, a painting one offers visitors the role of a painter. A trainee puts on 3D-spectacles and takes a spray gun. A paint booth and various elements of the vehicle body at option, for example, a door, are displayed on the screen. Having painted it, the computer shows the results of the work and analyzes it.

Such events help the training centre receive feedback, adapt to current needs of KAMAZ enterprises and approximate all types of technical training to manufacturing processes to the full extent.
