The Integration of Production Systems TOS+ and PSK+ session took place at KAMAZ (part of Rostec State Corporation) with the participation of specialists from Daimler AG - Russia's leading truck maker's strategic partner.
The session was held in order to adopt a positive experience from Daimler AG in terms of new approaches to the development of the Production System KAMAZ (PSK). It was attended by KAMAZ's top managers, heads of factories and the company'a divisions. In his address to the participants Sergey Kogogin, Director General of KAMAZ PTC, noted the importance and value of the PSK development under modern conditions.
During the session, speeches were delivered by thomas Jung, Senior OMCD Manager for Lean Production, his colleague Xavier Schambil, as well as Dirk Schlicht, Head of Office for Relations with KAMAZ PTC. They told the audience about the successful experience of the implementation of the German TOS+, the history of its development. Also there was a presentation of the E2E System at the session. This system provides for a new approach to the delivery of components to the conveyor (bypassing all warehouses) in the correct order, at the right time, of the right quality. In the afternoon, the participants worked in groups to develop and discuss various projects.
It should be recalled that in 2014 the Production System KAMAZ (PSK) was "reloaded". The new stage of development was called PSK+ similar to the "rebranded" manufacturing system of Daimler - TOS+. In the same year the first strategic session was held with the participation of experts from Germany and KAMAZ.
