KAMAZ at ENES-2014 Forum

27 November 2014
Last week, the ENES-2014 forum was held on the territory of Gostiny Dvor where more than 100 Russian and foreign companies, including OJSC KAMAZ, gathered.

OJSC KAMAZ is taking part in the development and implementation of State Programs on Expanded Use of Natural Gas in 8 regions of the Russian Federation. The company is actively developing its service network which also forms the basis of the KAMAZ NGV service infrastructure: more than 120 subjects, including about 25 service centers, are certified to serve KAMAZ NGVs. Today's model range of NGVs of the company numbers about 50 models. The latest and newest developments were presented at KAMAZ’s stand – the KAMAZ-65206 (6x6) bolster-type tractor with a combined power plant (hybrid) and the KAMAZ 830.13-400 (Euro-5) engine

During the exhibition, the visitors also managed to familiarize themselves with the company's energy efficiency projects: a mini thermal power station based on the AP100S-T400-1R gas stationary generator set, decentralized compressed air supply at OJSC KAMAZ and production of energy-saving fluorescent lamps

Today, vehicles consume nearly a third of energy, and transport costs account for 20% in the prime cost of the average Russian product. About 30% of the transport costs are expenses for fuel, which significantly reduces the competitiveness of Russian goods. The use of natural gas as a fuel for vehicles can reduce fuel costs almost twice to finally promote the growth of GDP.
