The KAMAZ-6282 electric bus of the second generation received the cup Best Domestic Bus at the exhibition Bus World Russia-2016.
At the Bus World Russia-2016 exhibition, KAMAZ (part of Rostec State Corporation) presented four exhibits, but the second generation KAMAZ-6282 electric bus with a new interior caused the greatest interest. It received the cup Best Domestic Bus of the Exhibition.
The bus is a joint product of KAMAZ PTC and the engineering company Drive Electro. The developers used modern components of traction electrical equipment, including an electric portal axle and lithium-titanate batteries with a service life of 10 years. The electric bus is charged from ultra-fast charging stations with the help of single arm pantographs. The total passenger capacity of the electric bus is 85 people, taking into account 24 seats. By the way, the electric bus will transport Muscovites along the route m. Slavyansky Boulevard – Innovative City of Skolkovo within a month as an experiment.
