KAMAZ won the competition for the supply of buses for Moscow

KAMAZ has signed a contract for the supply of almost five hundred NEFAZ city low-floor buses for the needs of the State Unitary Enterprise MOSGORTRANS with the provision of service and repair services for seven years.

Under the terms of the signed contract, KAMAZ is to deliver 473 large-capacity NEFAZ buses to Moscow-5299-40-52, including 25 units with an instructor driver's cab. It is planned that 310 buses will be available to the customer by the end of the year; the remaining 163 units will be transferred during the first quarter of 2022. This contract also provides for the provision of service and repair services for seven years from the date of delivery of the buses.

Recall, KAMAZ began to supply buses to the Russian capital from the end of 2018. For 2.5 years, the company delivered 1,540 buses assembled at NEFAZ, a subsidiary of KAMAZ in Bashkortostan.

Restyled low-floor NEFAZ bus-5299-40-52 it was put into mass production in 2018. It is designed to meet modern requirements for passenger safety and comfort. The exterior and interior of this model has been completely updated. The bus has a bright, spacious interior with a wide storage area, comfortable handrails with driver call buttons and USB-chargers for gadgets. Much attention is paid to the equipment of the driver's workplace: the bus is equipped with an air suspension seat, an ergonomic instrument panel, and a monitor with a multifunctional LCD display.

In accordance with the technical task of the State Unitary Enterprise MOSGORTRANS, the bus is additionally equipped with validators, media panels, and a system for monitoring the temperature in the cabin, light and rain sensors. For the comfort of passengers, there is a climate control system and double glazing. The bus is equipped with buttons for the address opening of doors by passengers. To increase security, a complex of 13 internal and all-round video cameras, face recognition cameras is installed. The bus has 31 seats and a specially equipped seat for people with disabilities.
