REMOTE TRAINING FOR KAMAZ DEALERS

16 May 2018

The training centre of KAMAZ – Regional Institute of Advanced Technologies and Business (RIPTiB) made the majority of trainings in service maintenance and operation of KAMAZ vehicles online. In all, there are 12 such courses developed and introduced.

An employee is given 15 days to pass a theoretical course followed by a control test. After passing the test successfully, the representative of the dealer is invited to on-the-job training. It is necessary to pass a theoretical course at the institute again. The employees who proved their knowledge will be able to undergo practical training at laboratories of RIPTiB. Those who fail to pass an entry test can improve their theoretical knowledge during a practical training. Besides, the institute reduced the number of home retests. Now experts of dealerships are given only three attempts.

Both managers and employees are scrupulous about training. They realize that they can get only so far without further training. Equipment becomes more complicated, customers' demands rise, competitors are up and doing. And one of the main competitive advantages – faultless provision of services – begins with qualification of unit designer, engine mechanics, diagnosticians. Dealerships which allocate large sums of money for training can exclude negligence on the part of some employees. It is obvious that it's necessary to arrange conditions for employees for comprehensive training.

RIPTiB plans to further make training accessible. It is planned to prepare audiobooks in service maintenance and operation of KAMAZ vehicles in 2018. This is another tool of distance training, along with online textbooks. Besides, it is planned to make courses in vehicle and spare parts sales online. New modes of study are developed with account of the dealers' wishes. Close cooperation of RIPTiB with dealerships enables to develop unique training courses in KAMAZ vehicles which are unparalleled in Russia and abroad.
