SERGEY KOGOGIN PARTICIPATES IN LAUNCHING SPRING PRODUCTION IN BASHKIRIA

Yesterday, September 15, a new spring production plant was launched in Beloretsk in the presence of Radiy Khabirov, Head of Bashkortostan, Sergey Kogogin, General Director of KAMAZ PTC, Pavel Yakovlev, General Director of the Automobile Plant URAL, and Boris Myagkov, Deputy General Director for Civilian Products of the Uralvagonzavod Concern.

The project is to supply Russian vehicle manufacturers with high-quality auto components at competitive prices uninterruptedly. The quality of springs produced at the modern high-tech spring production plant will meet European standards, new types of springs and semi-springs of complex shape will be manufactured there too. Investments in the project amounted to 500 million rubles.

“We are once again excited at the success of Ural Spring Factory. It is pleasant that here are the heads of Russia’s top three automotive engineering companies with us today: KAMAZ, URAL and Uralvagonzavod. We hope that these enterprises will become the main users of the products manufactured here,” said Radiy Khabirov, Head of Bashkortostan, in his welcoming speech. “This project was included in the list of priority investment projects a year ago, and our Ministry of Industry is supporting its implementation. This innovative enterprise offers good working conditions. I hope the management of the plant will continue to take care of their workers who should receive a decent salary."

“It is very pleasant that such strong and, at the same time, compact production facilities where modern technologies are applied appear in Russia,” noted Sergey Kogogin, General Director of KAMAZ PTC. “I expect that we will be able to get here products necessary for modern vehicles, and stop importing them. I wish success to the initiators of the project. This country finds support exactly upon such obsessed, in a good sense, people who want to change the Russian industry for the better."
