Tomorrow, on February 19, experts of the Purchasing Unit of OJSC KAMAZ will hold the Supplier’s Day in the engineering center of Kazan (Volga region) Federal University.
The main aim of the Day taking place within the framework of the Kama Industrial Forum 2015 is to widen business contacts and strengthen economic relations, share information, demonstrate the latest scientific and technological achievements of the Russian leading truck producer. Applications for participation were sent both by active and prospective suppliers of the Kama Automobile Plant.
Victor Burasov, Director of the Purchasing Center of OJSC KAMAZ, will tell suppliers about the company’s requirements and explain principles of an import substitution policy implemented by the enterprise. Ravil Ibragimov, Director of the Marketing and Purchasing Process Department of OJSC KAMAZ, will answer questions of those who are willing to supply products to the auto giant. Vladislav Pastushenko, Deputy Director for Development and Cooperation with Joint Ventures of OJSC KAMAZ, will dedicate his speech to aspects of working with joint ventures. Localization of components will be highlighted in addresses of Alexander Zakharov, General Director of ZF KAMA, and Alexey Polyakov, General Director of CUMMINS KAMA. Sergey Klyuchnikov, General Director of OOO NPO ROSTAR, a long-term supplier of the company, will share experience of participation in import substitution projects.
