COMPASS is a new line of medium-duty KAMAZ vehicles introduced to the Russian market at the beginning of this year. The vehicle is designed for operation in the city and suburbs, as well as for long-distance transportation. The universal platform of the KAMAZ-Compass truck enables to equip the chassis with a wide range of special superstructures, which allows the manufacturer to expand the model range as much as possible.

The garbage truck based on the KAMAZ-Compass 43089-F5 chassis features a Cummins ISF diesel engine with a working volume of 3.8 liters and an output of 154 hp. Its gearbox is mechanical six-speed. The curb weight of the chassis is 3,075 kg, the gross vehicle weight is 8,990 kg. The carrying capacity of the drive axle is 6,600 kg. The day or night cab is all-metal, of a tunnel type.

The superstructure of the chassis is a HIDRO-MAK garbage truck equipment, with a useful body volume of 8 cubic meters and a loading hopper volume of 1.2 cubic meters. Waste compaction ratio is up to six, depending on the type of waste. The body is made of ST-52 steel, 4 mm thick along the entire perimeter. The loading hopper is made of HARDOX 450 steel.

The vehicle was delivered to the official dealer of KAMAZ PTC – AUTOBAU JSC (Moscow).
