KAMAZ (part of Rostec State Corporation) continues implementing the project on "Raising Auxiliary Personnel's Salaries by Increasing Process Productivity and Reaching Staffing Levels".
The auxiliary workers' salaries were increased at the automobile, repair and tooling, forge plants, as well as in Finance and Trading Company - the average growth in teams who raised labor productivity reached 5%. The activities implemented under the project are not so complicated. For example, a laboratory assistant of chemical analysis at the forge plant was trained to work with a spectral device. The woman, who had improved her qualifications, became a universal worker combining two professions. After schedule revision at FTC, machinists of washing machines started working according to a different working time pattern. Thanks to the rational workforce placement for the purpose of interchangeability, the checker inspectors workload was revised at the Automobile Plant.
The HR experts' research shows that it is possible to increase productivity by using simple approaches: reviewing the personnel's functional load, combining professions and eliminating duplicate functions.
