10 April 2017

The results of fulfillment of obligations under the Collective Agreement of KAMAZ PTC (part of Rostec State Corporation) in 2016 were summed up at a conference of the labor collective held at the engine plant.

The event was attended by Sergey Kogogin, General Director of KAMAZ PTC, Aleksandr Vasilyev, Chairman of the Trade Union Committee, and other managers and specialists. 359 delegates from labor collectives of KAMAZ units were elected to the conference.

Representatives of the top management of the enterprise and the trade union of employees – Aleksandr Ushenin, Deputy General Director for Human Resource Management and Organizational Development, Dilus Ilyasov, Deputy Chairman of the Trade Union Committee for Social and Economic Work – reported on the results of the company's work and fulfillment of obligations under the Collective Agreement in 2016.

In 2016, KAMAZ held the position of a solid leader in the Russian automobile industry and strengthened its positions in export markets. The share of KAMAZ in the Russian market of trucks with a GVW of 14-40 tonnes in 2016 increased and reached 56%. As of the end of the year, the enterprise overfulfilled the business plan by selling 34.4 thousand trucks, which is 16% more than in 2015. As a result of strengthening the company's position in the market, it became possible to increase the amount of social obligation financing.

"Summarizing the results of the past year, it should be emphasized that KAMAZ remains a socially-oriented enterprise that fulfills all its obligations," said Aleksandr Ushenin. "About 750 million rubles were spent to provide social benefits, services and guarantees to the staff in 2016. The amount of funding planned for this purpose in 2017 will be 800 million rubles."

It was noted that, despite a difficult economic environment and challenging market conditions, payment of tariff rates, salaries, compensatory and incentive payments was carried out in strict accordance with the tariff agreement. In his speech, Ushenin also summed up implementation of the most important issues under the company's social policy related to provision of personal protective equipment, catering, healthcare for the staff and children's summer recreation, as well as youth activities, assistance in house-buying and other issues.

"The trade union committee have correctly assessed our joint work on fulfilling mutual obligations," Sergey Kogogin, KAMAZ Director General, summing up the results of the collective agreement conference. "We should be proud of the fact that we managed to control and fulfill all the points of our socially-oriented Collective Agreement: we started the year 2017 with good results." As the head of the company noted, KAMAZ continues to pursue its ambitions taking into account this year's moderate growth rates of the market. There is a certainty that new achievements will allow the enterprise to support the development of personnel capital. It is important not only to continue modernizing production in the units, but also to improve working conditions and raise the level of comfort in the workplace.

Sergey Kogogin answered the questions voiced by the company's employees. He dwelt upon the top managers' responsibility for creating safe working conditions, arranging passenger transportation and delivering personnel to the factories. In addition, the presentation touched upon urgent issues related to hot meals arrangement and forthcoming stage-by-stage repair of canteens. Paying attention to the growth of the company's market share and the leading positions of KAMAZ products in the Russian ratings, thanks to the production and sale of the new model range, Kogogin brought into focus each employee's contribution to the overall success. "I am confident that our team will solve any problems and cope with everything," concluded KAMAZ's CEO and thanked all workers for responsible work and support.
