Delegation from Germany Visited KAMAZ

Representatives of ZF Friedrichshafen AG, with which the auto giant has long been a partner in view of coopration with ZF KAMA Joint Venture, have arrived at KAMAZ PTC (part of Rostec State Corporation) with a working visit.

The delegation includes Wilhelm Rehm, Member of the Board of Management of ZF Friedrichshafen AG, and Andreas Matis, Key Account Manager (CIS).  

The business program started with a visit to the engine plant and CUMMINS KAMA Joint Venture where a CUMMINS cylinder block line and a CUMMINS cylinder head line, as well as a KAMAZ and CUMMINS engine assembly line were demonstrated. Later the representatives of the world's leading producer of vehicle components visited ZF KAMA JV set up to supply KAMAZ vehicles with up-to-date saving transmissions.

Besides, the guests visited the construction site of a new factory for the production of cabin frames for K5 trucks and familiarized themselves with the work of the mother assembly conveyor at the automobile plant. The tour included a visit to the pilot production site in the Research and Development Center of KAMAZ and KAMAZ-Autosport Center, where they learned about KAMAZ-master's history and saw their racing trucks.

The program of the German partner's stay at KAMAZ was crowned with negotiations on prospects for cooperation with the participation of Sergey Kogogin, Director General of the auto giant. "Our joint venture has successfully been working for already 12 years, and I'm glad that we've reached new agreements which will enable us to support the company and promote its development," Wilhelm Rehm, Member of the Board of Management of ZF Friedrichshafen AG, commented on the results of the business meeting.
