Engine Plant Determined The Best Professionals

A professional skill competition among representatives of nine occupations took place at the engine plant of KAMAZ (part of Rostec State Corporation). The Best Professionals received vouchers to Gelendzhik from the auto giant as a gift. 

This year, automotive service technicians took part in the competition for the first time, and the largest group was comprised of 29 contestants in the category NC Machine and Manipulator Setup Man.  

The competition as usual consisted of two stages – theory and practice, each lasting one hour. All tasks were of the utmost difficulty, required profound knowledge in equipment and machine building, and also skills. The jury thouroughly assessed a period of manufacture of details, skills of using measuring and control tools, production culture, compliance with safety regulations, and other parameters. 

Summing up the results, the jury appreciated the high level of the contestants' competence, their good skills in interpreting drawings and extensive knowledge of programs. As a result, nine first places were distributed. Ramis Vakhitov became the best foreman, Arif Tukanov became the best construction metal worker. Ilnur Gayazov became the leader among NC machine setup men. The largest amount of scores among engineers went to Olesya Smolina. Anton Semyonov became the first among automotive service technicians, Maksim Emelin among instrument rerpairmen, Artyom Piskunov among heat-treatment operators. Ilya Stolyarov was acknowledged the leader among electricians, and Vyacheslav Andreev among electric and gas welders.

All prize-winners received diplomas and gifts, also they were upgraded. Besides, the owners of top places were handed vouchers to Gelendzhik from the trade union committees of the plant.
