KAMAZ Sums Up 2Q Results

KAMAZ PTC (part of Rostec State Corporation) published the issuer's quarterly report with the results of the second quarter and the first half-year of 2017.

The company's proceeds for six months of 2017 reached RUB 57.59 bn (RUB 42.3 bn, +26% in the first half-year), net profit grew more than 15 times from RUB 27.5 mn to RUB 419 mn year-over-year. 

The cumulative volume of the Russian market of trucks with GVW over 14 tonnes after six months of 2017 formed 24.2 thousand units. As it was planned in the Business Plan, KAMAZ is keeping the leading positions in this segment: the company's share of products made 49.5% (with regard to registered vehicles). 

On the whole, the share of sold KAMAZ products on the Russian market after 6 months of 2017 totaled 86% of the overall volume of sold trucks and vehicle sets, amounting to 12,986 trucks, which is by 20% more than in the same period last year.

The volume of spare parts sold on the Russian market in the first half-year made RUB 4.5 bn and showed a y-o-y growth of 27%.

983 KAMAZ vehicles and knockdown kits (CKD) were exported for the first six months of 2017: 609 vehicles and 374 CKD kits, including 370 vehicles and 369 CKD kits sold in CIS countries.
