13 July 2017

Factory of Processes, a training center of KAMAZ PTC (part of Rostec State Corporation), will conduct a training on effective deliveries based on the E2E principle for the company' suppliers.

The task to train the company's partners for free was set at the II Scientific-Practical Conference Arrangement of Effective Deliveries Based on E2E Principle. Development of Production Systems that was held at the auto giant in June. The training was developed by experts of KAMAZ with the use of materials of its partner - Daimler. Suppliers of OEM components will be the first to undergo the new course.

End to End is a principle focusing on optimization of all logistics processes between supplier and customer. The application of the E2E principle in supplies enables to perform all production and logistics operations fr om manufacturer to customer with minimum expenses. According to Artyom Gruzdev, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Development of Production System, Development of Factory of Processes, the peculiarity of E2E lies in that it is not a tool, but the whole conception, strategy because the whole cycle embraces a great number of processes from production to supplier. The goal is to make this conception equally clear for all participants.

"With this purpose we have developed a training as close to KAMAZ production as possible, wh ere all stages are seen," Artyom Gruzdov said. "The main thing is to act step-by-step, solving problems of logistics, storage of components, and move forward. The training is based on lego truck cab assembly. Like in every training, we tried to include creative, heuristic tasks when groups could express their abilities of solution fnding."

The first E2E training will be held at KAMAZ's Factory of Processes on July 20. 18 managers of supplier companies will participate in it. Groups will also include representatives of the purchasing center, KAMAZ's factories and logistics center.
