The first NEFAZ 5299-30-51 buses were purchased for Chelyabinsk two years ago, since September 2015 they have been operated on urban routes and showed their good performance. "Buses meet all modern requirements: they are environmentally friendly, roomy, and the main thing is that they are convenient for physically challenged passengers," said Evgeny Teftelev, head of the city, before handing the keys to the drivers of OOO Gorodskoy obschestvenny transport.

The model from the modern product line of NEFAZ PTC, a subsidiary of KAMAZ in Bashkiria, has a 60 percent low floor, is equipped with a gas engine that complies with the Euro-5 environmental standard, and is adapted for transportation of persons with disabilities. The total passenger capacity is 105 people.

The contract for the delivery of this batch of buses was concluded under the program of state subsidies for gas vehicles. The vehicles are supplied by the official dealer of KAMAZ PTC in Chelyabinsk – OOO Company URALKAM.
