KAMAZ PTC (part of Rostec State Corporation) was visited by a delegation of China's largest engine-building corporation Weichai Power and its subsidiary OOO Weichai-Rus Tradeinvest.
The delegation included Tan Xuguang, Chairman/CEO at Weichai Power; Quan Zhang, Executive President of Weichai Power; Aleksey Tutubalin, General Director of Weichai-Rus Tradeinvest, and others. During the business program, the members of the delegation visited CUMMINS KAMA and ZF KAMA joint ventures where they got acquainted with the assembly of CUMMINS engines and the gearbox assembly line.
Also, the guests visited the engine plant, saw the work of the cab assembly line and the main assembly conveyor at the automobile plant and visited the construction site of the new factory to produce cab frames for K5 generation trucks. The visit was finished with negotiations on prospects of cooperation with the participation of Sergey Kogogin, General Director of KAMAZ.
