As part of a working trip to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Director General of KAMAZ PTC Sergey Kogogin visited the Akmola automobile center KAMAZ (Nur-Sultan) and held an investment Committee.
Sergey Kogogin inspected the areas of the Akmola KAMAZ automobile center after the first stage of modernization. The customer service area has been completely updated, including the car sales Department, service and warranty Department, store and spare parts warehouse. A show-room was organized, where the flagship of the company's model range – the KAMAZ-54901 mainline tractor of the K5 generation was presented. At the second stage of updating the car center, the service zone is planned to be upgraded.
Despite the difficult situation associated with the coronavirus pandemic and the decline in demand for cars, by the end of 2020, the auto center is expected to increase key indicators compared to last year, including the sale of cars, spare parts and service services.
Sergey Kogogin held a meeting of the investment Committee in the Akmola automobile center KAMAZ via video link with Naberezhnye Chelny, which was attended by Deputy General Director of KAMAZ – corporate Director Zhanna Khaliullina, Director of KAMAZ Trading company LLP Andrey Kovganov, Director General of KAMAZ-Engineering JSC Sergey Kistin, Director of Akmola automobile center KAMAZ LLP Renat Zaripov and other members of the investment Committee of the auto giant.
During the meeting, the project of further development of production of special equipment in KAMAZ-Engineering JSC (a joint venture of KAMAZ PTC and National company Kazakhstan Engineering JSC) was considered. It was decided to open a branch of the joint venture for the production of special equipment in Nur-Sultan.
