The delegation of Knorr-Bremse AG led by Chairman of the Supervisory Board Heinz Hermann Thiele attended KAMAZ PTC (part of Rostec State Corporation) with a business visit.
The represenatives of the world's leading producer of brake systems for commercial vehicles with which the auto giant has been cooperating within the joint venture KNORR-BREMSE KAMA, visited the engine plant and familiarized themselves with KAMAZ engine assembly. The next points of the business program included tours of JV ZF KAMA and the consturction site of the new plant producing cab frames for new K5 trucks. Also, the German delegation saw the work of the main assembly conveyor and the cab assembly line at the automobile plant. The new model range was presented there too: the guests were shown technical potential of KAMAZ-5490, KAMAZ-6520, KAMAZ-65208 and other trucks.
The two-day visit was crowned with negotiations on prospective cooperation with the participation of Sergey Kogogin, Director General of KAMAZ, that took place in the company's general directorate.
