Sergey Kogogin, Director General of KAMAZ PTC (part of Rostec State Corporation), met with Macky Sall, President of the Republic of Senegal.
The parties discussed prospects of KAMAZ trucks deliveries to Senegal and issues of investment in projects of common interest. Besides, a conference was held where the representatives of fishing industry association, agriculture, livestock production of Senegal delivered their speeches.
"KAMAZ and Senegal has been cooperating for a long time, KAMAZ has been delivering its trucks to Senegal since 2003, and I'm glad that we have an opportunity to discuss how we can develop and improve our business relations," noted Sergey Kogogin, greeting the President of Senegal. The head of the auto giant told that KAMAZ trucks of the new line-up are now called-for in all industrial sectors of Russia and regions with various climatic conditions. Modern KAMAZ vehicles can be useful in Senegal's fleets too. Sergey Kogogin expressed confidence that the vehicles will show their advantages in different industries of the country that are actively developing now.
Pyotr Fradkov, CEO of the Russian Export Center, also participated in the meeting in Dakar, the capital of Senegal.
