KAMAZ-54901: FIRST ASSEMBLY IN KAZAKHSTAN

KAMAZ Engineering JSC presented the first KAMAZ-54901 freight trucks assembled in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In September, the first five KAMAZ-54901 vehicles were assembled at the KAMAZ Engineering plant in the city of Kokshetau. There were representatives of KAMAZ PTC, official dealers, large corporate clients, and representatives of government agencies, departments and the Association of Kazakhstan Automobile Business at the presentation ceremony. The new trucks went to Kazakhstan’s dealerships to be shown to potential customers.

The KAMAZ-54901 long-haul tractor is equipped with a ZF automated gearbox and a new 450 hp L6 KAMAZ-910.12 engine compliant with Euro 5 emission standard enabling to reduce pollutant emissions. The truck has a service interval increased to 120,000 km, as well as a 10% reduction in fuel consumption. The truck in its basic version already has an on-board information system with ITIS-KAMAZ software for satellite monitoring of the vehicle.

The spacious cab features a large number of functional storage compartments. The driver's seat is mounted on an airbag and has a wide range of adjustments.
