KAMAZ AND MINISTRY OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF RUSSIA SIGNED COOPERATION AGREEMENT

During the 2018 Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum, KAMAZ PTC, Rosatom, ChelPipe, TechnoNICOL, and PAO Severstal signed agreements on cooperation with the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation for implementation of the priority program Development of Labour Productivity and Employment Support.

The companies which signed the agreements are top players on industrial markets and leading developers of production systems. Under the program, the participants are to share information on their performance, visit their colleagues' industrial premises. Besides, it's planned to render consultancy support, conduct trainings in classes and on-the-job, participate in business meetings and forums to discuss issues on an increase of labour productivity at the regional and federal levels.

"KAMAZ has boosted production by 1.5 times only for the last four years," noted Maksim Oreshkin, Minister of Economic Development of Russia. "Introduction of new methods at the company's production premises enabled the company to perfect the production system." KAMAZ's experts are ready to offer the participants of the program their know-how in change management under conditions of today's market."

In accordance with the agreements reached, the experts of KAMAZ and other leading companies will jointly conduct instant diagnosis and develop proposals to improve efficiency and support employment at the enterprises within the program.

"Our goal is to create a performance trend. We can do it only with the help of our leaders – the companies which have been working on their production systems for a long time and are ready to share their knowledge with other participants of the program. Together we can distribute the best practices in productivity gains in Russian regions as efficiently as possible," emphasized Maksim Oreshkin.
