KAMAZ is taking part in the 17th International Trade Fair Mechanical Engineering. Metalworking in Kazan on these days.
This year, over 170 companies from 13 countries are presenting their products at the exhibition. KAMAZ-owned Promyshlennye komponenty KAMAZ is showing diversification products at its stand. These products are made by KAMAZ plants not for the production and sales of KAMAZ vehicles and spare parts, but for third-party clients. The guests can also see samples of cutting, measuring and pneumatic tools made by the repair and tool-making plant of KAMAZ.
Besides, the seventh meeting of the Coordination Council of Tatarstan Mechanical Engineering Enterprises in the course of the fair, was held in the presence of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov. Deputy Director of the KAMAZ Technological Center Ilshat Abdulkhakov was one of its participants. The agenda included such issues as evolution of machine tool technologies in Russia and globally, production digitalization, IT for enterprises, etc.
At the same time, qualifying competitions of the WorldSkills championship of vocational skills are being held. Ilya Markov, CNC machine setup man of the KAMAZ engine plant, will fight for the victory in the Team Production Technology competence.
