Foundry of KAMAZ PTC (part of Rostec State Corporation) won a tender for delivery of benches and litter bins for the city of Naberezhnye Chelny. Under the contract, the goods should be delivered till December 31, 2017.
The tender was conducted at one of e-platforms and ended in favour of KAMAZ. Three companies participated in the final stage of rebidding. However, an advantage was given to the foundry as a company compliant with all requirements stated in the tender documents. Besides, KAMAZ offered a better price in comparison with other bidders.
Now, the foundry of the auto giant will produce 1,214 benches (two types of 500 backless benches each and 214 backed benches), and also 50 litter bins. In accordance with requirements stated in the tender documents, benches and litter bins will be made of grey iron. "This tenacious alloy makes the items not only beautiful and durable, but also anti-vandal," the manufacturers explained.
