KAMAZ Employees Got Back from Corporate Leave

21 August 2017

Today, on August 21, employees of KAMAZ PTC (part of Rostec State Corporation) got back to work after a two-week paid leave.

"There are intensive months of work with a high production pace ahead," Sergey Kogogin, Director General of KAMAZ, noted. "The volume of the Russian truck market will exceed 50 thous. units this year, which is higher than was expected at the beginning of the year. Therefore it is planned that, following the results of 2017, our sales on the Russian market will reach about 32 thousand vehicles, which is higher than was stipulated by the business plan." He also stressed that the most part of the planned production volume is to be made within the second half-year.

The corporate leave at KAMAZ passed from August 7 to 20. It should be recalled that it was the second part of the vacation: the first part of KAMAZ's corporate leave fell on January 9-22 this year.

The company has been practicing a single vacation for the majority of the staff since 2010. During this vacation period, repair and service departments keeping equipment safe and operating, buildings and constructions working, and also part of the personnel engaged in compiling and submitting accouting, tax and other statements continue working as usual. The corporate leave doesn't apply to subdivisions responsible for vehicle sales. These workers go on leave according to a specially developed vacation schedule.
