The Сompliance Сoordination Board chaired by Sergey Kogogin, Director General of KAMAZ PTC (part of Rostec State Corporation), has summed up the results of the work of the Hotline for the second half-year of 2016.

Almost 220 calls on various issues has been received for this period – 1.7 times more than in the first half-year of 2016. Investigation was carried out in 51 cases of possible breaches of the compliance policy and the internal code of conduct, resulting in 19 facts (38%) confirmed.

For a year 98 investigations were carried out, 34 facts (36%) of violation of KAMAZ compliance rules and requirements were confirmed. As a result, disciplinary measures were taken: eight workers were administered reproofs, eight workers received reprimands, one employee was fired, five KAMAZ workers were debonused, two employees were suspended from their duties in their field.

According to Victor Spasov, Head of Compliance Service, KAMAZ employees know that, if they're somehow aware of instances of fraud and corruption, conflict of interests, stealing, breaches of procurement procedure in KAMAZ PTC, they need to call the Hotline. This is a very important tool of early detection of risks and loss prevention. Confidentiality and anonymity in respect of an complainant are guaranteed. "Summing up the half-year activities, I'd like to mention a certain thing. After we had carried out a contest for the best anticorruption visualization of the Hotline and placed the best works in production shops and offices, many people started to better understand compliance as a system. The testimony of it is a higher number of calls," Spasov noted.
