KAMAZ-master Fulfilled Seriously Ill Boy's Wish

17 March 2017

Today the long-nurtured dream of a boy with a cerebral tumor has come true. He met with the KAMAZ-master team's drivers and was given a ride in a legendary KAMAZ sports truck.

Two years ago, Rinaz Sharifullin was diagnosed with a serious illness – pilocytic astrocytoma. The seven-year-old boy is now staying at the Children's Republican Clinical Hospital in Kazan. He has already undergone several operations and chemotherapy courses. According to the boy's mother, Rinaz has long been into cars. "He likes cars so much, even helicopters and airplanes are of less interest to him. I consider the reason is that his daddy is working at KAMAZ, and vehicles are much talked about at home," she explained.

As it turned out, Rinaz has long been dreaming of being given a ride in a racing truck of the KAMAZ-master team. The representatives of the charitable project Dream with Me got in touch with the racers and asked them to help make the severely ill child's dream come true. So, today, together with his father, Rinaz visited the KAMAZ-master team, met with the Dakar champions and even was given a ride in a KAMAZ racing truck.

The charitable project Dream with Me helps to fulfill wishes of children who suffer from life-threatening deseases. And the organizers of the fund stress that they don't give presents or collect money for medical treatment, but realize projects together with a child. In their opinion, positive emotions and new impressions  help children to undergo medical procedures much easier and support families in difficult situations.
