KAMAZ has published its accounting statements for the first quarter of 2021 according to RAS: total revenue increased by 49% compared to the same period last year and exceeded 48 billion rubles.
The revenue growth was driven by the dynamics of truck sales in the domestic market: the active sale of KAMAZ-54901 vehicles – a new model range of the K5 generation company, which was introduced to the market in 2020, and the interest of consumers in K4 generation vehicles running on compressed and liquefied natural gas. It is also worth noting the sales in the direction of «Passenger transport». As a result, the profit from sales at the end of the reporting period more than doubled compared to the first quarter of the last year and reached 1.2 billion rubles.
The company's net profit for the reporting period was 1.01 billion rub, compared to a loss of 798 million rub for the same period in 2020. Gross profit for the first quarter was 4.38 billion rubles, which is 37% higher than the result of the same period last year (for the same period of the last year – 3.19 billion rubles).
According to the results of the implementation of the production plan for the first quarter of 2021, the plants and divisions of KAMAZ exceeded the same indicators of the previous year by almost a third, which also contributed to the achievement of high financial results. So, the automobile plant, the finishing enterprise of the company's main products, handed over for shipment to consumers in March 4,347 vehicle sets (for the same period last year – 3,565 units, +22%).
