KAMAZ's Subsidiary Celebrated Anniversary

In August, OOO Promzheldortrans-Servis, a subsidiary of KAMAZ, celebrated its 45th anniversary. An official festive event in honor of the jubilee with an awarding ceremony took place in the assembly hall of the enterprise.

As of today, almost three hundred people work at PZHDT-Servis. The company has over 100 km of railways and six stations (Sidorovka, Avtozavodskaya, Promkomzona, Stroybaza, KAMAZ, Liteynaya). The average turnover is up to 260 railroad cars per day. The share of KAMAZ in the overall volume of cargo transportation by rail is 50%. The main activities also include rental of railroad cars and lease of operating facilities, services of long-term placement of empty cars in a coach yard, elevated tracks for discharge of inert cargo, crushed stone, operators' services throughout Russia.

Since March 2015, Sergey Gukov has been General Director of the entertprise. The main innovative result attained by this jubilee is GPS and fuel consmption indicators introduced in the whole transport fleet consisting of 10 diesel locomotives and 17 various motor vehicles. A successfully realized investment project for introduction of ITIS KAMAZ satellite monitoring systems in transport enabled not only to improve the situation in terms of logistics, save significant means and showed serious prospects for all subsidiaries using not only railroad, but also motor transport.
