KAMAZ SUMS UP 2017 IFRS FINANCIAL RESULTS

The consolidated revenues of KAMAZ Group for 12 months of 2017 exceeded 156 billion roubles, net profit made almost 3.5 billion roubles.

38,192 trucks, which is by 11% more than in 2016 (34,432 units) were sold on domestic and foreign markets. The volumes of truck sales were increased, in particular, thanks to outperforming growth rates in sales of new-generation vehicles, efficient use of client financing tools, a flexible pricing policy. Measures were taken to reduce costs, increase labour productivity, substitute imported components, enhance efficiency of financial resources management. The share of KAMAZ PTC on the Russian market of trucks with GVW over 14 tonnes (data on registered vehicles) for 2017 made 45%.

The result of the company's efficient activity in 2017 is a net profit which reached almost 3.5 billion roubles (656 million roubles in 2016). EBITDA for the stated period amounted to nearly 10.8 billion roubles (6.15 billion roubles in 2016). The EBITDA margin in 2017 grew to 6.8% in comparison with 4.6% a year ago. The revenue growth and effective cost management ensured a positive operational cash flow in the sum of almost 8.8 billion roubles (5.85 billion roubles in 2016).

During the year, we have been implementing production reengineering programs and developing the new lineup. As a result, 14.3 billion roubles or 9.1% of revenue (8.2 billion roubels and 6.1% in 2016, respectively) were spent to update and master new technologies.
