Aleksandr Ushenin, Deputy Director General of KAMAZ PTC (part of Rostec State Corporation) for HRM and Organizational Develpment, has handed the city's administration a gift certificate for the sum of 4,685,000 roubles for Naberezhnye Chelny's first-graders on behalf of the company.
This has happened at a solemn event following the results of the Help Get Ready for School charitable campaign that has taken place in the Children's Activity Center of the city today. Every year KAMAZ supports families of first-graders in Naberezhnye Chelny financially.
KAMAZ has long been helping families with first-graders. Several years ago schoolchildren were presented with schoolbags, now they are handed gift certificates for stationery. This year the company has prepared certificates for almost five million roubles.
But this is not the only measure of support taken by the company. KAMAZ's plants patronize several schools of the city. Teh auto giant is interested in equipping KAMAZ employees' children with a proper education at schools. For this purpose the company elaborated a special career-guidance program titled Day of KAMAZ. This event turned into a real holiday for schoolchildren. Days of KAMAZ were organized in 19 schools of Naberezhnye Chelny, more than 18 thousand schoolchildren took part in them. Tours of KAMAZ plants are regularly conducted for schoolboys and schoolgirls.
