KAMAZ WINS IN THE RUSSIAN COMPETITION

KAMAZ (part of Rostec State Corporation) won in the Russian competition of the best worker training practices among enterprises and organizations. The Day of KAMAZ career guidance program became the best in the Fr om Vocational Choice to Successful Career category.

The jury consisted of Lyubov Yeltsova, Russian Deputy Minister of Labour; Aleksandr Leybovich, General Director of National Agency for Qualifications Development; Svetlana Kraychinskaya, Director of Academy WorldSkills Russia, other competent specialists. Having won the victory, KAMAZ became a pilot ground wh ere the Day of KAMAZ practice will be promoted and experience will be shared. In addition, this vocational guidance program is included in the Register of Best Worker Training Practices.

Days of KAMAZ which help to select the future profession, broaden pupils' outlook, get acquainted with the largest Russian truck manufacturer have been conducted in the schools of Naberezhnye Chelny since 2016. A career guidance program launched on the initiative of Aleksandr Ushenin, Deputy General Director of KAMAZ for HR Management and Organizational Development, was realized in a short period of time by the Company's Corporate University together with the HR services of the plants.

These useful events are attended by pupils of Grades 1-11, and their age and expectations are taken into account by the organizers of the events. Thus, lessons and games for lower grades are informative, and events for senior pupils are focused on assistance in choosing a profession: they are given an opportunity to participate in professional tests and much more.
