More than 1,500 children of KAMAZ workers will receive free vouchers to summer camps.
Children's camps Solnechny and Krylaty where the children will stay are located in a picturesque place – on the territory of Tatarstan's Nizhnyaya Kama National Park. Preparations for the start of the health-improving season started as far back as last September. Roofs and bathrooms were repaired, linoleum was replaced and walls were painted in the buildings. There is new furniture in the rooms now. This year, it was determined how to assist in household works. Now, each KAMAZ plant patronizes several buildings where, among others, repair and finishing works will be carried out.
KAMAZzhilbyt started hiring counselors. By tradition, students of Elabuga Institute of KFU, Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University and College will arrange leisure time activities for the children together with experienced tutors. During summer sessions it's planned to devote more time to carreer guidance. The guys will participate in workshops on mental mathematics, learn the ropes of working professions, get involved in voluntary service. The three-week in the camp costs 21 thousand roubles, but KAMAZ's workers are given vouchers to camps for free.
