Mangold Consulting's Delegation at KAMAZ

Heads of Mangold Consulting GmbH Klaus Mangold and Christoph Mangold accompanied by Tatarstan's Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov visited KAMAZ (part of Rostec State Corporation).

The members of the delegation visited the engine plant and CUMMINS KAMA Joint Venture where they saw a cylinder block line and a CUMMINS cylinder head line. Besides, the guests saw how KAMAZ and CUMMINS engines are assembled. To add to this, the delegation attended ZF KAMA and KNORR-BREMSE KAMA JVs, as well as the construction site of a new plant producing cabin frames for trucks of the K5 generation.

The agenda of the business program included a visit to the main assembly conveyor and a cabin assembly line at the automobile plant. After that there was a presentation of vehicles of the new model line-up in front of the Research and Development Center: there were KAMAZ-5490, KAMAZ-65201, KAMAZ-65801 and other vehicles presented there. To add to this, the delegation attended KAMAZ-Autosport Center to see the production of racing trucks of the well-known KAMAZ-master team.

The visit of the heads of Mangold Consulting GmBH to KAMAZ was crowned with negotiations on cooperation with the participation of Sergey Kogogin, General Director of the auto giant, and Albert Karimov, Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan.

Klaus Mangold highly appreciated the level of international relations and cooperations which have been developed for the latest years and noted that KAMAZ was working with the world's leaders. "Partnership between Tatarstan and Germany evidences a high level of relations," he said. "However now it is important not to lose time and opportunities and promote new projects." 

Having noted the German investors' interest in business development in the region, Klaus Mangold expressed confidence in the further strengthening of business relations between KAMAZ, Tatarstan, and Germany. Mangold Consulting GmBH intends to boost economic ties presenting KAMAZ as a strong partner.
