The idea to build KAMAZ's museum in Naberezhnye Chelny was supported by the Investment Council of the Republic of Tatarstan under the chairmanship of Tatarstan's President Rustam Minnikhanov.
The project to build the museum of KAMAZ PTC was presented by Zhanna Khaliullina, Deputy Director General of the Company – Corporate Director at this year's first presidium meeting of the Investment Council of the Republic of Tatarstan. She told about the new museum to be built in Naberezhnye Chelny in the year of the 50th anniversary of the auto giant.
The project provides for construction of a building next to the general directorate of KAMAZ on an area of 5,093 sqm. The building will host not only an exposition of vehicles, but also museum archives and interactive attractions. Preparatory work is underway now. The facility is expected to be opened at the end of 2019.
