NEW FORMAT OF TRAININGS

2 February 2018

The teleconference Training in Vehicle Maintenance for Experts of KAMAZ PTC's Dealerships in 2018 was carried out at KAMAZ.

The teleconference was organized in the regional institute of advanced technologies and business (RIPTiB) – KAMAZ's training center. Its participants are dealers from all corners of Russia and the CIS countries. Denis Zaikin, Rector of RIPTiB, Artyom Yuris, Chief Specialist for Training Organization of Dealership Network of OOO AvtoZapchast KAMAZ, Ilsur Abdullin, Chief Specialist of KAMAZ PTC's Dealership Network Development Service, acted as speakers.

The participants considered issues of training for experts in maintenance and operation of KAMAZ vehicles. The conference was focused on presentation of 15 new and renewed educational programs, and also on a modern style of education. Whereas before the trainings had been only face-to-face, in 2017 half of the courses became in a mixed format: the workers study the whole theory at home, pass exams and arrive at the institute to undergo practical trainings. In 2018, all courses in maintenance (except trainings in gas-powered vehicles and for product assurance engineers) became distance. The list of courses was also expanded.

According to Denis Zaikin, such a format will help attract more students. But the main thing is that the workers of KAMAZ's dealership network can undergo practical trainings on-site. In previous years, a worker had to leave his native town for Naberezhnye Chelny and spend two days for it. Now the dealer cuts not only business trip expenses, but also saves his working time, because the trainings are conducted on-the-job. Distance education is expected to be developed with the help of interactive technologies.
