Official message

22 April 2017

By this message I officially inform on behalf of KAMAZ PTC that since 2010 the company hasn’t been delivering trucks to North Korea and hasn’t been cooperating with this country.

From November 2006 to the end of 2010, about 150 KAMAZ vehicle sets for civilian use were delivered to North Korea. They include about 110 dump trucks and about 40 side trucks.

In accordance with the decision of KAMAZ PTC’s shareholders, the deliveries of KAMAZ vehicles to North Korea were stopped at the end of 2010. There are also no joint ventures producing KAMAZ trucks in North Korea.

In addition, the analysis of publicly available photos of trucks from the military parade in Pyongyang shows that KAMAZ trucks didn’t participate in it.

Yours faithfully,
Oleg Afanasiev
Head of Press Service of KAMAZ PTC
