RESOURCE CENTERS: DEVELOPMENT CONTINUES

22 March 2018

KAMAZ Trade and Finance Company continues opening resource centers in cities and regions of Russia with the help of which K5 KAMAZ trucks will be brought to market.

Resource centers (RCs) are established with the purpose of improvement of sales channel management scheme. According to Andrey Ignatyev, Director General of KAMAZ Trade and Finance Company, RCs are representatives to which regional manufacturing plants and dealers are assigned. "They are needed to respond on the spot to changes in logistics, a lineup, prepare fleets, etc. A dealer sells and cant's afford to have about 300-400 various vehicles, but RCs can offer everything related to the auto business: the whole range, all types of towed vehicles, special superstructures," explained Ignatyev. There will be sort of hypermarkets, hubs of commercial vehicles mainly for dealers. Client's Days, Doors Open Days, presentations and test drives of vehicles on test grounds which showed their advantages last year can be more often held there. "Besides, with the help of RCs we'll bring to market our K5 vehicles, train sellers there. All navigation, onboard systems our designers installed in KAMAZ-54901 are on another level in comparison with today's advanced lineup," noted Ignatyev. "Operators should be highly skilled, but we must be ready to offer our services 90%."

The auto industry is booming in digitalization: big centralized data acquisition, development of cloud solutions to store data, development of databases and online control over networks and fleets, control over load of all services, monitoring of displacements are increasingly needed. Clients want all modern applications to be connected with a vehicle in order to get information where and at what time a platform was unloaded, etc. According to Director General of KAMAZ Trade and Finance Company, you can ensure such technical solutions only when you control locally and help dealers quickly supplying them with spare parts, providing ready vehicles, superstructures on time. "Nest is building certain applications or an online system for registration, monitoring of a vehicle where its whole history is to be stored – about orders, owners, financial services, etc.," concluded Ignatyev. "Most likely, all this will be made in regional centers. We will carry out preparatory works already this year."
