Test Drive of New KAMAZ Trucks in Kazan

5 October 2017

The test drive of new KAMAZ dump trucks has been held on the territory of the KAZANRING autodrome in Kazan, the capital of Tatarstan, today.

KAMAZ-6580 and KAMAZ-65801 dump trucks were the models to test drive. KAMAZ (part of Rostec State Corporation) provided an opportunity for potential customers and journalists to drive new trucks and consult experts of KAMAZ Finance and Trading Company.

KAMAZ-6580 (6x4) and KAMAZ-65801 (8x4) vehicles are equipped with a comfortable cab on a four-point suspension, 9-tonne front axles and 16-tonne rear axles, with a lifting capacity increased to 26 and 33 tonnes, respectively. The load capacity of vehicles was enhanced due to changes introduced in all units and aggregates, in particular, these are reinforced frames, modernized braking and steering systems. The dump trucks are equipped with Cummins ISG12 engines complying with the Euro-5 emission standards, generating 419 and 450 hp, respectively. Another advantage of these models is a body with a heated platform made of wear-resistant steel, with a volume of 16 and 20 cubic meters, respectively.

The test drive was visited by potential buyers and automotive industry journalists who appreciated the technical innovations that made the trucks of KAMAZ's new line-up even more effective and reliable. Previously, the company conducted a similar test drive in Moscow on the territory of ADM Raceway and in Surgut where the all-wheel drive KAMAZ-65802 model highly popular in the region was also presented.
