UNIQUE BELL DUMP TRUCK ASSEMBLED

1 November 2017

NEFAZ, a subsidiary of KAMAZ in Bashkiria, assembled the first articulated mining truck in cooperation with BELL, South Africa.

The BELL B33L fump truck with a carrying capacity of 33 tonnes is designed for mining, and its performance and cost make it adequately compete with foreign trucks of the same kind. The advantages of the low-profile BELL B33L dump truck is that it's made of high-strength steel, and it features a high-tech fuel-saving engine, easy-to-use electronic systems, low operational costs. Besides, the special vehicle is rather small-sized to operate in a restricted space of mine openings.

The trial model will be handed to Sibay Mining and Concentration Complex for testing the successful results of which will enable to put this model into serial production. This project is NEFAZ's another successful step toward import substitution.
