WORLD QUALITY DAY AT KAMAZ

The World Quality Day which usually falls on the second Thursday of November was celebrated at the subdivisions of KAMAZ.

KAMAZ is focused on a wider presence on the Russian and world market, therefore it is a priority to produce reliable vehicles with the best VFM factor. The high quality of products and services is an important factor influencing the company's competitive ability on the market.

Among Russian vehicle producing companies, KAMAZ PTC enjoys the highest level of customer satisfaction with the quality which is equal to 7.34 points on a 10-point scale. For nine months of 2017, the rate of defects in KAMAZ vehicles decreased by 36.2% (following the audit results), the level of loss due to spoilage saw a y-o-y 18.2% drop. It became possible to save more than RUB 73 million owing to quality assurance measures taken in 2017. There are 104 KVP groups and 8D teams working in all production departments the members of which managed to achieve better performance and made processes more efficient. And all employees of the company realize the significance of quality management in their everyday work.

On the eve of the World Day of KAMAZ, the results of the contest The Best Quality Assurance Manager were announced at KAMAZ. This year, the winners are Chief Engineer of the Forge Plant Gamir Mukhametzyanov, Head of the Chassis Shop of the Press and Stamping Plant Vener Salikhov, Senior Master of the Thermal Finishing Operations Site of the Forge Plant Andrey Shkuratov, and other KAMAZ employees.
