KAMAZ PTC and Gazprombank Leasing CJSC have signed a memorandum on cooperation in promoting new KAMAZ trucks on the threshold of the 22nd St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
The document was signed by Sergey Afanasiev, KAMAZ PTC Deputy General Director for Sales and Service, and Maksim Agadzhanov, Director General of Gazprombank Leasing CJSC. The parties agreed to jointly develop and promote projects in financial and operational leasing of KAMAZ trucks in the Russian market and to prepare proposals for government support aimed at encouraging sales of Russian trucks.
"KAMAZ and our partner – Gazprombank Leasing – as the largest companies in markets of trucks and lease financing have a wide experience and innovative technologies," commented on the signing Sergey Afanasiev. "We intend to combine our efforts so that modern reliable KAMAZ trucks enjoying high demand in various industries could become more affordable, go to vehicle fleets of Russian enterprises and give wider opportunities for business development."
"We discussed prospects of cooperation with KAMAZ. The signed memorandum is only the beginning, we see points of growth and have already negotiated a number of joint projects for this year. In the near future we plan to realize a project on operational leasing of KAMAZ trucks. All our projects will promote the development of the Russian truck market and stimulate import substitution," said Maksim Agadzhanov, Director General of Gazprombank Leasing.
