The delegation of the Russian Register Certification Association have completed their work at KAMAZ. The results of the audit were announced at a meeting of the Quality Director – Director of the Quality Department Evgeny Leonov.
The quality management system has been operating for almost 20 years at KAMAZ, and every year it is necessary to confirm its effectiveness and compliance with the criteria of established standards. As part of the regular audit, the commission visited the truck assembly, press and stamping, foundry, forging, repair and tool, engine plants, AvtoZapchast KAMAZ, as well as the departments of quality, technical control, production management, chief metrologist, personnel development, procurement center, logistics center, development unit and internal audit service. The compliance of the KAMAZ QMS with the requirements and standards of the international system ISO 9001-2015, the national standard GOST R ISO 9001-2015 was checked. It was also necessary to confirm compliance with the requirements of the new version of GOST RV.0015-002-2020.
Taras Krikun, Head of the Group of Auditors of the Russian Register Certification Association, presented the results of the audit. “Some inconsistencies have been revealed. As usual, KAMAZ will determine their causes and develop a plan of corrective measures. For example, we noticed that several inconsistencies are essentially very similar,” Krikun said.
At the end of the meeting, the auditors were unanimous in their decision. “Everything went very well. Our auditing team will speak in favor of confirming previously obtained certificates. And we will recommend the certification body to reissue the certificate in accordance with GOST RV 0015-002, taking into account the new version of the standard,” Taras Krikun added.
