KAMAZ SUMMED UP FINANCIAL RESULTS FOR 2023 ACCORDING TO RAS

8 February 2024

KAMAZ PTC published financial results for 2023 according to RAS. As a result of the company's activities in the reporting period, a net profit was received in the amount of 12 billion 703 million rubles.

The revenue of KAMAZ PTC at the end of 2023 amounted to 354 billion 713 million rubles, exceeding the same figure last year by 33.2% (the same period last year – 266 billion 318 million rubles). The growth in revenue is due to the dynamics of sales of trucks in the domestic market, growing demand for the flagship of the new generation of K5 vehicles – KAMAZ-54901 and an increase in sales of passenger transport (buses, electric buses) as part of the implementation of the national project “Safe Quality Roads” and other federal projects. As a result of the company’s activities, a net profit of 12 billion 703 million rubles was received, which is 2.4 times more than in 2022 (the same period last year – 5 billion 387 million rubles).

“In 2023, KAMAZ solved two complex problems. On the one hand, it was necessary to fine-tune the increased production of all-wheel drive trucks as clearly as possible, on the other hand, to resolve issues of increasing the production of K5 generation trucks on a new sanctions-resistant component base. In 2024, we intend to continue to move forward, implementing the Development Strategy approved by the Board of Directors and major shareholders in December 2023. KAMAZ will continue to provide consumers with high-quality products from a wide range of models,” said Sergey Kogogin, General Director of KAMAZ PTC.

In total, in 2023 the company produced about 53 thousand units of commercial vehicles. In particular, almost 2 thousand buses and electric buses, more than 4 thousand trailers and semi-trailers, more than 41.7 thousand units of heavy vehicles, including 5 thousand KAMAZ-54901 trucks, 4.85 thousand units of medium- and light duty Compass vehicles (Compass 5, 6, 9, 12).
