“Last year was difficult for our production. All manufacturers, KAMAZ is no exception, faced delays in deliveries of various vehicle components. But company’s all divisions working as one team enabled to avoid suspension of production and achieve one of the best performance indicators for the last ten years,” said Sergey Kogogin, General Director of KAMAZ PTC.

“Despite the pandemic and related difficulties, KAMAZ managed to achieve the 2021 goals, having exceeded the previous year’s production indicators by 18%. The company is going the right way: it continues modernizing production, in 2021 more than 13 billion roubles were invested in the development of the product range, over 1 billion roubles were allocated for research and development, design and experimental activities. New models of K5 trucks were commercialized, electric bus production is expanding, the KAMAZ-6290 – a green public vehicle running on hydrogen fuel cells – is almost developed. These are stepping stones to the company’s unchallenged leadership in the future. Our closest task is to master the production of the whole line of K5 generation trucks, expand the production of passenger vehicles to 2 thous. units a year, and boost exports of our products,” said Sergey Chemezov, General Director of Rostec State Corporation, Chairman of the Board of Directors of KAMAZ PTC.
