KAMAZ vehicles are being presented at the first international industrial exhibition EXPO-RUSSIA KYRGYZSTAN 2022 taking place at the trade and exhibition center AYU GRAND in Bishkek (the Republic of Kyrgyzstan) from June 21 to 23.
The joint stand of KAMAZ PTC and OOO Virazh, the authorized dealership of KAMAZ for selling vehicles, spare parts and servicing, demonstrates two new products – a high-tech version of the KAMAZ-54901 freight truck and a KAMAZ-65952 dump truck.
The KAMAZ-54901 High-Tech is a version of the flagship freight truck KAMAZ-54901 of the new generation equipped with a number of systems and components enhancing active safety, comfort and efficiency of the vehicle. The truck featuring a KAMAZ R6 engine of increased capacity (550 hp) and a 12-speed automated gearbox with an intarder can brake in front of an obstacle automatically. This became possible thanks to the application of the driver assistance system – ADAS (adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning system, emergency brake assist). Today, many forward-thinking carriers focus on a driver’s safety and comfort are top priority. The KAMAZ-54901 High-Tech is a long-haul truck tractor of the new generation setting a benchmark in efficiency, comfort and reliability of long-distance haulage. The new engine KAMAZ R6, the automated gearbox and the hypoid axle ensure steady running on a road with the lowest fuel consumption. The modern cab with an even floor is highly comfortable for a driver during his work or rest, which lessens the driver’s fatigue and increases safety of goods delivery.
The KAMAZ-65952 (6x6) is another model of the latest generation of K5 trucks. The dump truck is equipped with f 450 hp straight intercooled diesel turbo engine KAMAZ R6. The engine capacity is 11.946 l. The gearbox is automated. The fuel tank holds up to 400 l of fuel. The payload of the dump truck is 24,400 kg. The curb weight is 16,600 kg. The body space is 16 cbm. The cab is low, all-metal, tunnel shaped, with an aerodynamic windscreen. The base version is a day cab, but there is an option of a sleeper cab for work on remote routes.
The exhibition is organized by AO Zarubezh-Expo and the National Investments Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic with the assistance of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, as well as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Economic Development, sectoral ministries of the Russian Federation, the Embassy and the Trade Office of Russia in Kyrgyzstan.
